Aquaturu Inc. with its subsidiary in Denmark has since 2019 developed breakthrough sustainable technology for land based fish farming and other land based agriculture. The R & D department has years of experience with water treatment. The need for new Aquaculture technology is evident to secure an important food source which feeds a growing population. The idea is to merge better fish welfare with lower production cost at a fraction of the cost of current competitive solutions.

Aquaturu will constantly develop the products according to the needs and wishes of the customers. The units are scalable and targeted treatment of production water in aquaculture plants - land based fish farms.

The technology method, for which the Company has applied for patent protection, is a water treatment unit specifically targeting issues that are present in the aquaculture systems, e.g. bacterium and parasitic induced diseases, algae bloom, biofilm build-up and bacterial geosmin distaste.

Using advanced IT eg. AI based remote control, app based or local touchscreen controls to adjust treatment parameters, the future of fish farming will become even smarter for the fish farmers to operate while still being user friendly for non-tech staffing.
